Sadhguru announced the Shiva Yatra a few years back. He basically asked devotees to walk, cycle or come by bullock cart for the Isha Mahashivratri. The Chennai shiva padyatra has been happening every year since past 10 years! And these yatris sure create a inspirational impact! Now many more city folks have joined in!

This year, 2023, there are 7 cities which will participate in this walking padyatra, all the way to Isha Ashram Coimbatore.

  1. Maha Shivratri is a deeply spiritual time, and Sadhguru’s Shiva Yatra adds a unique dimension to the celebration. The Chennai Shiva padyatra’s enduring tradition and growing participation reflect a beautiful blend of devotion and modern enthusiasm.
