During the COVID lockdown, Sadhguru went on a bike ride across the US, exploring Native American culture and sites. It was very exciting as Native American culture has always been so intriguing.
The Work of the Saptarishis
These ancient, indigenious cultures across the world have many spiritual processes woven into them and as Indian people we will often find our own cultural elements reflected in them. In today’s world dominated by monotheistic religions, I don’t know about you, but I feel refreshed seeing the more Earth-connected, tribal cultures.
Sadhguru has connected the dots for us, to explain that the Saptarishi’s mastered the spiritual sciences under Adiyogi (Shiva, as the first yogi) and the went different ways across the planet. It is their footprints that led to these many indigineous cultures across the planet. This also explains why there are many uncanny commonalities across these cultures.
Many of these native spiritual traditions hold India in high regard. They often do consider the land of India as the crucible for all spirituality on the planet. Giving more credence to the Adiyogi story.
We see a similar experience of Ram Gurung when he visited Mato Tipila in Wyoming, USA. The Native American culture in the area has many similarities with Indian pilgrimage culture.
Mato Tipila Pilgrimage
Without further ado, please see this video where I chatted with Ram Gurung (@hardcorespirituality101), who has visited Mato Tipila. And he shares a lot of details about the onground realities of this place which Sadhguru described as a powerful Vishuddhi Energy Center. He talks about the Native American culture around this mountain, other powerful energy spaces there, ancient pilgrimage route, current day Isha meditators who visit this space every year and lots more.
