When I am not “on the road”, my base is Mumbai at my parents house. Naturally, when I am there, I wish to explore and uncover interesting stories. This implies heritage walks, chit-chatting with people from different strata of life, clicking photos and so on. 😉 And here are some of these Mumbai city photos! See the same old hustling bustling city in a different light – black and white only!

Iconic Mumbai at Flora Fountain crossing – the local bus plying down the road overseen by the victorian architecture and us pedestrians waiting for our turn with the signal

Mumbai City Photos

Night scene and empty roads

Mumbai City Photos

Iconic walk on the marine drive – Mumbai!

I took a liking to black and white photographs only a while back with my Taiwan photographs. I then created a series of 13 European City photographs and the black and white really gives some of them a very vintage feel. And now a black and white series for my many Mumbai city photos! I am sure if I dug more I will be able to add a lot more pictures to this series. But I can keep it as a part 2.

While putting together this series I realised that there is a key role for the curation too – so maybe my next series will be better curated. 🙂

Do share your feedback and tips to improve my photography – will be useful!
